172 Service - how to???

Hopefully picking up a lovely little Ph2 172 this eve and quite looking forward to it to be honest!

Couple of questions in relation to any guides available -

The car is in need of a service and I want to do this myself so I have the opportunity to have a good look over the car, I have been looking for a guide on a standard service - does one exist and if so where? I have checked the usual places and tried searc facility bit no joy.

Also I dont know if pads and discs need changing if try do what do people suggest as replacements and where is best place to source them?

All the info should be in here, including oil changes, front and rear pads & discs, spark plugs, pollen filter etc They will all be individual guides so its just a case of finding them if you can't see them try the search in the top right.

Also I see you have asked the trader for parts they should be able to sort you out with what you need.

Thanks for the pointers bud, had a quick look and found discs and pads guide, pollen filter guide, spark plug guide but the most important the oil change has all the pictures missing.
Guessing it's fairly straight forward??

Fairly straight forward mate, as any other car really - just make sure you have a large enough catch pan to avoid making a mess :rasp:
