172 shocks query

hiya guys i was just wondering if the rear shocks from a phase 2 172 would fit on a phase 1 172?

Yep all Clio Mk2 rear shocks are interchnagable but they are all a bit different thu will fit and are a close enough spec to be ideal.

Yep dead easy to fit.
I'd forget using the Gaz stuff its all useless.

how about swapping the rear shocks with the worn out front shocks on a mk1 172??

you cant put rear shocks on the front, they're completely different.

are all parts that hard to get hold of out in SA?

it may be worth trying places like GSF car parts online. They sell oem parts and can probably deliver to you quicker than renault can, and be cheaper too!
