172 Shocks

My offside rear shock is gone...

dont really see much point replacing it with another Renault one, so might go down the coilover route...

however i dont know where to start looking. Whats good, whats not?

I quite fancy the sound of adjustable damping and ride height :)

FK's are what i'm saving for Dan.

H&R's are out of my budget at the moment. K-Tec do a pretty good price on them both unless you can better it with a group buy?

Think there was one being organised for FK's but it may have come and gone now.

I'd go for the H and R or Fk ones or of you want want that low ride height springs and matching dampers as they can be a superb match for a good price. Personally I'd be very tempted and probably end up with Leda ones if it were my car although they are expensive and I'd not want to pay list price I'd try and see if you can get the same price the gorup buy got at £900 or so.

gdi have stopped selling Gaz as not too great - speak to venom motorsport - do pretty much most makes and at the best prices I have come accross - plus John (owner) is really helpful and will pretty much beat any quote you have been given - top job venom!

I dont think i can afford H&R.

A replacement Renault shock will cost me £60, H&R's will cost £700! lol

OE rear shocks are about £25 each at GSF.

If you want to get coilovers, you can still get the FK Highsports (non-damping adjustable) for about £480 at Venom Motorsport.
