172 Standard Airbox Help

just picked up a standard airbox and installed it, now theres 2 pipes, one which was already on the car that lets the cold air in and another that runs under the airbox (from the airbox). Now the airbox has 2 holes, the one running out of the pipe, and one next to the battery, where do i attach the pipe that lets the cold air in?.. to the other pipe or the hole to next to the battery

Oops sorry, Its a Phase 2

to the one next to battery, its ovalshaped sort of. the other one sits in a recess in the inner wing

Thanks, got the pipe coming from the airbox clipped in the round part next to the light... think thats right

does Renault sell these pipes as ive just been out to look and the one that goes where the battery is has snapped and cant connect it any other way.

yeah id think they would! should have a part number somewhere on it

One pipe clips to the chassis, just behond the headlight & the other goes down to the acoustic valve behind the wheel arch lining, tip - leave that one off, acoustic valve does fook all, if any thing reduces your fresh air supply :dead:
