Has anyone tried fitting the metal steering wheel insert off the newer 172 & 182 models to a Ph1 172, not sure if it will work? Also, did all Ph1 steering wheels wear so badly?! I guess the only solution is to fit an aftermarket cover (but the ones I have seen so far look pretty crap) or buying a new wheel?!
