172 to 182

Is it worth going from a 172 to 182 what are the + points and -

A new 182?

I was thinking the same, but i bought the 172 new and would be buying the 182 new. Couldnt justify taking the loss on the 172, followed by the loss i would get on a 182 by the alledged release of the trophy, followed by the release of the new clioXXX in about 9 months.

Id either wait for the new shape clio RS or invest in a set of coilovers to match the handling, get a prospeed exhaust, ITG panel filter and maybe a visit to Andy or Ben.

If you can get a good deal like friends and family and good part ex price for the 172 then yes.

Otherwise its not worth loosing all that depreciation again.

i went from a 172 cup to 182, and it only cost me about 1k to swop,i think its worth doing
