I'm looking to build a track car to compete in SLS next year and I am not sure if buying a 172 Cup is worth the extra money. The car will be getting all interior and heaters stripped out, poly windows, cage etc. It will also be getting coilovers. Am I right in thinking that the only thing left on the car that is different between a 172 Cup and a normal 172 would be the lack of ABS and TC?
