172 vs 182 Video & pics.

Had to mega shrink this vid down, so the quality is utter tripe. (credits to Justin for making the vid)

Amazing how similar the cars are pace wise. Justin's seemed to pull better from stationary, and defo in 5th gr. But at pace i think the remapped 172 was pullin well.

Have a bubble. (check my speedo in the tunnel, kind of broken lol

I know still can't launch properly. Justin's car was still quicker to 60.

I only got 6.89s then a 7.01.

The 182 mani will loose you a little low down Ali...but you`ll gain higher up. Had a few played with my m8s Mk5 GTi. Before now 2nd gear I waste him then 3rd quite even then 4th he pulls back a little. Last night his was slightly quicker in 2nd but 3rd I pulled a fair bit then 4th I pulled even more. Great car to compare against as the gear ratios are very similar....although they do tend to be a fair bit more than the quoted 197bhp so I`m quite please with mine at the mo

It's a fine art in RenaultSport Clios. The bite point being so high. You want just a little noise from the tyres. I used to find launching my 172 really hard, it's not so bad in the Trophy for some reason, unless I have the aircon on, then it virtually kills it for some reason.

Your car still feels CONSIDERABLY quicker!!! Mayb it's the passenger seat scenario...But mine just feels a bit dead low down.

I've removed my sub and spare so thas's circa 30kg lighter. Higher at the bak now too.

Only things i have done to my 182 is decat, blueflame cat back and ITG filter.. Was a good laugh, though need to get some sort of camera mount worked out...
