172 vs Fiat Coupe 20V Turb vs Corrado G60

Right then, heres my mates car parked along side P44DYS, the G60 i know Ill smoke even with his recon-supercharger and exhaust, but things arent looking good for when i go againdt the Fiat, its FAST!! Ill let you know how we get on!

LOL, well im biased but i reckon on looks alone youve got them beat hands down, the carrodo is just looking dated now and next to each other the fiat doesnt look as good as the 172

hell stuggle off the line with all that torque should fly when he gets moving though. yours is fast though paddy so might be closer than you think.

the Fiat is deadly in 3rd hence 14 seconds to 100 (thats quick!!) BUT he spins it right through first, its a bugger.

14.5 to ton 0-60 not much diff. but dont forget RPMs clio can hit the ton in 14s

I had a 20v Turbo as my last car. 172 will probably be quicker off the line, but when the turbo spins up its bye bye Clio. That turbo shove is something else.....

When I had my Mk1 172, I had some fun with a serious Fiat 20v Turbo on a country road. On the straights I was very, very gradually pulling away, on the twistys there was no contest.

Lets not forget the power to wieght ratio, aswell.

i know you wont believe my now Paddy but i reckon you will have him to 60 70, ie when he reaches for 3rd. i know when i raced my mated 20v i was level til 40 and he wouldnt convincingly pull away til aroud 70. Let us know!

but if he learns how to control it off the line then its will be bye bye, fiat 20v turbos are rapid, more power and more importantly a hell of lot more torque
