172 will not start

hey my 172 sport will not start just turns over wont fire up ive changed crank shaft sensor and the part of the loom and still nothing any body have any ideas of what it might be??

welcome, sorry to hear it wont start, start simple tho, take the plugs out but leave them in there coils, make sure there earthed, then turn the engine over and make sure your getting spark, if you are next step would be to check its getting fuel, if the plugs are dry when you take them out, it could be a fuel pump issue. this could simply be something as a blown fuse to needing to replace pump. but on ther other hand it could be many other things, i would try start there tho and let us know how you get on.

also check your map sensor a had problem with mine and a changed plugs leads and coilpack and it turned out to be map sensor.....or if you know someone with dianostics you might want them to plug that in......welcome and good luck
