17s to 15s

have many of you done this? im just wondering if there will be any significant performance benefits, and with a 60mm drop, am i going to struggle to get over speed bumps etc?

I got better handling, less shaky ride and accurate speedo readings.

i actually found my speedo to be more accurate with 17s than standard wheels.

yes mate its a valver, just wanted to hear peoples views on this.

Depends what you want, show or go.

I went from 15s to 17s, back to 15s to 17s again and am now on 15s.

17s on the 172 look the nuts especially when decked but 15s are more than adequate now, especially considering that I live in Edinburgh and this council has the most claims in the UK regarding the compensation caused by poor road quality.

yeah

im tempted to change to a set of 16s, but doubt theyll look anywhere near as good.

my cars on 16s with 60mm drop, its fine, youve seen it.. when i had to put the steels on (13s) it was still ok over most bumps
