18s on valver

Alot if you want to lower it a decent amount to. Youll have to space the wheels out a bit and roll the arches as much as you can. Then just get the grinder out and see where the fronts rub, youll have to take a bit off the end of the sill where it comes into the whell arch and another bit behind the wheel.
i fitted a wide arch kit to do, but it could be done on a valver with a bit of care and alot of time.

Im pretty the 17s are gonna look too small. I cant see the back arches being much of a problem, but the fronts.....
I do remember that Nick had to chop his front arches to bits to get them on. The cars being prepped for a re-spray at the mo, and is like a bare shell. So nows the time to do it really, if im going to.

if you wanna go big, ive seen a 16v on 19". it looked awesome. that was a load of work getting suspension work made for it, but it has been done. but as you say if its going for a respray, ideal time to do it. good luck with it.
My 17s looked ace with the body standard, but i just get the feeling that once the kits on theyre gonna look small.
I want the car to stand out, and dont mind sacrificing handling a bit for looks.
Getting K-Tecs kombat kit. Skirts should be arriving tomorrow hopefully. Only thing is, im not too sure on the front bumper.
Know of a nice front bumper that would fit in with the rest of the kit? Dont like the 4 round fog ones as theyre everywhere.
The car is bright red, will have lightly smoked tints, smoked lexus lights, and the front has a half way bad boyed bonnet.
alright mate i had 18s on my valver, at the rear i had to take the rear splash guards out and cut as much of the bumper mount back as i could. on the front i had to trim the front bumper loads on the drivers side and take out all the splash guards. my wheels were off set et 35 and were fine. they looked the nuts but it puts loads of strain on the power steering and slows the car down a lot and the handling is not as good.

If not just so i can say yeah, ive got 18s!!!!! Not that i would unless someone asked of course - wouldnt want to have my car vandalised!
Seriously though, they have to be 5 spokes. I really like the Toora 5 spokes. Think they would look class. Got Kahn RSRs at the moment and i can see now theyre gonna look way too small. Got my kombat skirts this morning & held them up to the car.
Nope, afraid 17s dont cut it with me anymore!
