18 alloys on a Valver

Has/Can you get 18s on a valver? They would be of the 18" by 7.5"

Been offered a straight swop for my 17s. My Matey has them on his punto gt but he hit a bump the other day and knocked his wing all out of shape so he wants rid cus theyre more hassle than theyre worth, but was thinkin with the flaired valver arches itll be ok. Checked the offset and they would go on but its whether they would fit like you say width wise. Just wondered if anyone has done it?

you will need to trim the front and rear bumpers i believe, to be honest i wouldnt bother to much hassel, loss of performance, handeling, tyre cost etc etc.

Sounds like hard work to me! Think ill just lower my car some more and get me some 16" white multi-spokes!
