18" on phase1 clio.95

hi, ive got a phase 1 clio on a m pate. i put 17" on it alot of people told me that i wont be able to lower it much with them and i wont fit any bigger on it.but ive just seen a picture of one with 18" wheels on it as any one esle done it and as any one got any pictures.cheers

whooft id suspect it will be a right choppy ride on 18s matey, id avoid.

even 17s will be mare, probably just get away with it, lowering will be a nightmare.

I'd have thought to get 18's on you'd need valver arches on it. A dude on here (Phantom Clio) has a proper modded up valver on 19's ! He'd be a good person to ask about big wheels etc.

I think it'll look a bit daft tbh, as massive wheesl aren't my thing.

I had 17's on my mk1 1.2 lowered 55mm no worries, never had a problem with arches rubbing even with 4 up (i cut the arches back tho)

ye,it was really low on 17". i dont think it looks that bad with 18s
