182’s - the end

just reaad the thread about how many trophies are left and i saw that someone said there arent many 182s left due to the new clio coming out? is this true and anyone have any ideas how many are left of the old 182 or have i got in a bit of amuddle?

182s will be built until the RS model is released next summer id imagine.

I was told that they have stopped the production of the 182s and the only ones left are those being shipped across or ones still half built.

no its true, they have run out of 182s, so now they are just re-shelling the engines into 1.2s... spot the difference

prob going to keep her for a bit... even though i am losing so much on her.. hardly seems worth it to go down to a lower powered 172..

Plus i am probably going to be relocating back to kent soon for work... plus ive had no interest in the for sale section... lol probably cos of my wild over inflated price and ring pics i put with the ad... lol

A car being track dayd shouldnt really put people off mate, seeing as a load of people know you and can vouch for the car... thats the best bit about being in an owners club... well and the people obviously! lol

nah, not yet, not advertised it as yet, gonna get it fixed tomorrow and then get the cams timed in then put the fooker up. Then its RWD time . You know it makes sense!

Im in agreement with blink,im sure i have also read that both model Clios are going to run for a year or so untill the twingo comes out,due to the fact both the clios are classed has completley different sizes models.Its in a old auto express mag but i too could have got in a muddle

they are carrying on production of the rush and extreme along side the clio 3 all other models will cease

The clio rush and extreme are the only two models which will continue alongside the new clio because the new one is not going to be as cheap so they will offer these at a lower price.

They are not going to stop them straight away like they did with the megane because they lost customers due to them not keen on the shape. Changing them over a year means those who dont like the new can still have the old, giving the new shape time to grow them....
