Is the standard 182 alarm any good, how sensitive is it?

yeah its cat1 does the job and comes well fitted. nothing more needed. But doesnt have the features of some like proximity sensor which Id like. It always detects movement in car when Ive tested it though, and right away when doors open.
Plus it beeps if you try locking car and door/boot/bonnet open.
