182 alarm - help please!

how does it work? a few times when locking up it has beeped 4 times, doesnt do it every time, what does the 4 beeps mean? should it beep every time you lock/unlock?

You can check by leaving the window open, locking the car and "setting the alarm." Wait 30 seconds and bung your arm in the window and if it goes off, Hey presto!

No idea, my Cup alarm beeps when it feels like it tho..

common fault unfortunatley.

dealer can fix it. do a search for more info keep your eye on the recent third time lucky post.

jus test it by sitting still in the car waiting for red light on dash on raid button to go out then wave arms about.

if it beeps 3 times when you come back to car it has gone off, see how many times the led is flashing next to your gear stick to see which sensor has been activated.
