I have this question, hopefully someone will know. Can any one tell if the OEM back boxes from the 182 exhaust system are like big chambers inside or do they have a pipe running inside? I am thinking of changing the OEM piping for a 2.5" one but keeping my OEM back boxes. My mod will be a hell of a lot easier if they are just chambers, other wise I will have to cut them open a change the inside pipe too!
Please, don't tell me to go for an aftermarket cat back because I am not a fan of nosy cars, I like the sound as it is but was wondering if this could help the exhasut just a bit.
