182 backbox on 1.2?

could i bodge a 182 twin centred back box to fit my 1.2 8v mk2? or would it not work

yeah you can bodge it or buy a custom made one from k-tec but u will have to remove your spare wheel well and weld a plate in its place but its your car mate so its entirely up to you

You dont have to remove you spare wheel well for the k-tec system it fits round it BUT the exhausts dont match the 182 bumper cut out so you would to have to modify it and its not exactly cheap to start with.

i made my own, using a mig welder and a mixture of stainless steel pipe and some stainless steel tailpipes. both tailpipes are working interms of gas flow no dummy

could enyone give me some more info about doing this as i need to make one up in the next week or so.i have just come from long life they said its posible but will cost me 400 pounds .im sure i can do the same job as them maybe evan better with much less .would it be ok to just weld onto my old back boks with more pipe the have to comeing off from it ,.,.,.help would be great please thanks
