You shouldnt have needed any paste at all. We haven't had to use any on the ones we've fitted yet. Dan if you want the pipes sticking out less (you might want them like that) you should be able to slide the back boxes down the centre section enough for the pipes to be near enough flush with the bumper.

Without a doubt quicker and now its sooting up it seems to be getting even quicker!

Fred: I am pretty sure i have got them the wrong way round, i will take a pic tonight and pm you. I bought the new gasket kit from renault which comes with everything for cat/manifold join but as prospeed fucked my old one up that wasn't on right either so I have just done it how i thought was right :s
