182: Changing the Backboxes

I wish to change the backboxes/silencers on my 182 to motorcycle end-cans.

(There is a very good reason for this...)

Can it be done?

Anything can be done if you have the cash best to speak to a custom exhaust maker to find out

Dont see why not. BenR has a Harris race can on the back of his valver. Pro-Speed put it all together. Sounds awesome.

Anythings possible, not sure how much space there is to get two full bike cans under there though?

I'm intrigued to know what the very good reason is!

1) I want a raspy (not bassy sound) - so I can select the right can.
2) They tend to be quite light
3) Removable baffles, so I can leave them in day-to-day.

you probably could get them to fit but it would be really loud and imo a waste of money (if you want carbon or titanium cans) as you would'nt see any of the finish.
