182 Door locking.

Earlier on I went out and unlocked the car as normal, but was messing around getting some bits ready to put in the boot. In this time I heard the car lock and saw the lights flash as normal but my keys where on the side!

Does the car lock its self after disarming if a door has not been opened?

I find my 182 locking does this too, exactly as you describe - it locks itself as if a door hasnt opened.

Cheers must be a feature.

Its a safety feature incase as you are walking away from the car the key button accidentally gets pressed in your pocket and unlocks the door etc.

If you dont open the door after unlocking it then it will lock itself after about 30 secs.
