182 Exhaust & MOT

My 05 182 still has the original exhaust on it. I have noticed that the weld on one of the back boxes to the tailpipe is blowing.

I can recall being told a long time ago that if an exhaust is blowing after the back box, it would not fail an MOT. Is this correct? Or is it time to start shopping?

i may have a standard system if you want it mate, bought a miltek and still got the standard system, which was workin fine, just wanted summuin more special
