182 Gear gaiter

How do you remove the gear gaitor on a clio 182? Got a new one to fit just cant figure out how to fit it??

un clip the bottom part turn it inside out cut the cable tie and do the reverse to fit the new one!

When fastening the new cable tie in place, cut the excess quite close to the gear stick.

Sounds obvious but the original on mine wasn't and the inch or so of cable tie eventually put a hole in my gaiter due to the sharp edge on it
