182 manifold pressure on idle at 540mbar

Hi All.


Have a second clio and this one too this month is playing up.


Has a rough idle, way too rough, and the manifold pressure with a new sensor is showing 540mbar. Before i tear it apart, any likely pointers? Timing has been checked, pin and horse-shoe drop straight in at tdc.

What make sensor?

Not sure it's brand new but not marked with anything.

I couldn't say as I didn't buy nor fit it. Do copy ones often play up new?

yup. if it hasn't got anything on it i'd bin it and start with a decent one.
