Im currently in the middle of doing mine, i spoke to k-tec at autosport and they say with a decat and their matched inlets it makes a worthwhile difference. I've also got the subframe off anyways for a sump replacement and new gaskets, so it made sense to do it all at once, also makes it alot easier to switch between decat and cat for mots

Well, I did the manifold swap, can't say I noticed any difference but figured that every little counts when tuning NA!

they're right, but for the hastle of doing it, the engine needs to be out already. It is a better manifold definitely, but the 172 one is still very good

I used one to get 184 on a reliable rolling road so the definitely compliment.

i fitted mine with the ktec decat link pipe on a car that already had matched inlets, k-tec stealth, itg filter and it made a massive difference, mid range pull was awesome, i recon if i had got it remapped it would have gained more, it ran 188bhp after the mods and 173bhp standard bar the ITG filter

i didnt loose any noticable top rpm pull that i could notice other than in 5th gear it would no longer hit the rev limiter!

EDIT: also forgot to say it went from 144lbft to 159lb/ft

I beleive it contributed to the torque I managed to get. 175lb/ft at SRR is the highest I've ever seen an N/A clio do there

Ive currently got a decat pipe welded in place.

IIRC the 182 manifold is longer than the 172 one, so if i were to get a 182 manifold would i need to cut my exhaust about halfway through my decat then get it welded back together?

MOTs arent a problem.
