182 not right

when my car is cold ie in the morning or left for a good few hours and i hold the revs at about 1800k the car shakes like f**k but it only happens when its cold, does anybody elses car do this?

my 172 cup is a ballache when cold, very spluttery.... still it makes the exhaust pop like a good un , and the fault clears when its up to temprature, think its pretty common?

it's fine on tickover just the usual shaking but i caught the accelarator yesterday and thats when it happened, if you could imagine running the car on 95 ron fuel then the shake you get at idle multiply that by about 10-15 it's that bad.
my car has'nt been into renault for about 6 months may be time for them to see it again

mine is lumpy when cold but doesn't physically shake.

There all lumpy on cold idle due to the emissions regs, but the shaking is odd.

Does the whole car shake, not just a rattling engine cover?

should have said it's lumpy on tickover not shaking but it does shake at 1800 revs

My 172 does the same thing when cold. I had the same concern and asked on here if others have experienced this, several have. I'd not worry about it. The idle is perfect after a minute or two.
