182 seatbelt's

Can the 182 seatbelt's (grey ) be cleaned as I've tried and the drivers side is still dirty

i used vanish on mine once, although i think the general consensus is not to do it as the fibres in the belt can be destroyed or frayed = risk in an accident. but then when you think about it, in some accidents people survive who dont wear them! lmao.

when i used upholstery cleaner, i just swept down ways not side to side, because if you look at the belt, the fibres seem to go mainly downwards (well isnt that logical? lol)

just be careful, they are seatbelts afterall.... (i never said do it! lol)

I did mine on the weekend. They came out looking brand new.

I pulled mine out the car and shut the door and jet washed them with some G101 on them.

I then dried them with a white towel and left them in the car with the heaters on and they looked like new.

Out of interest, has anyone actually replaced the seatbelts for new ones?
