182 Service Costs

All,

A quick question on 182 service costs (Renault seemed to be unable to give me a quote for the 182, only 172 costs).

So far, I have the following info:

Service every 12k miles or 2 years, whichever is first with each service costing £175. First major service at 54k miles which costs £301 and then at 72k miles or five years, £360 timing belt.

Anyone have anything to add or know different?

My 12k service was £198.

even Main Dealers will haggle on service

my locals: Northampton £199, MK £199, Aylesbury £185

up north loads cheaper, so haggled with Service Manager @ Aylesbury

"I can get the same much cheaper (£130 best quote in Birmingham) if Im prepared to travel, but Id much rather TRUST my local supplying dealer"

OK £168!

I paid £130 at 12k and £150 at 24k. 36k is first major service and was £248.

Ahh, first major is at 36k miles.

Ok, noted - many thanks for your replies. It looks like it pays off to shop around for a service/MOT.
