182: Slight loss of power

  Clio 182 2005
Morning everyone just after a bit of advice.

I have an 05 plate 182 on 80k.
About two miles from home this morning i noticed a slight loss of power in the car. It wasnt yet fully up to temperature, and i was cruising at 65mph-ish in 5th gear, gently accelerating. The car felt like it was hesitating to accelerate. It felt a bit like a strong head wind was pushing against the car (i used to drive an Aygo, where the slightest wind would effect acceleration so I know this feeling!) but was obviously not wind. The hesitation from the engine only happened a few times and then stopped. I found a clear bit of road and gave the car a more spirited drive through the gears, and there was no hesitation at all...

This happened to me once a couple of weeks ago too, exactly the same situation. I have heard of people having injectors go kaput or ignition leads, and as far as I know they have never been replaced on my car (nothing in service history). Is this the best place to start looking for faults? I have done the fault identification trick thingy where you turn the ignition key and it flashes up faults, but nothing appeared.

Any help/suggestions very welcome!

Drop in tempertaure (outside) can affect these cars. Me personally would just monitor the situation rather than finding a fault that may not be there.

Could even be fuel related etc. Like i say just monitor the situation.

Had this exact problem just the other day as well, about 50mph just a slight hesitation.
My first thought was injectors myself. But hasn't done it since touchwood.

As @imprezaworks advises, will also monitor the situation and let you know if I find a solution (if needs be).
