182 Steering problem

Done 625 miles in my 182 since 26.11.04, noticed that say when parked on driveway with wheels straight the steering wheel isnt sitting perfectly, the diamond being turned slightly to the right? My brother who used to be a mechanic thinks steering alignment might be out?

I had the very same problem and covered just over 900 miles with it. Just got it fixed today. I took it into my dealer and told them the wheel was sitting to the right when I was driving in a straight line.

One of the mechanics took it out a test, then adjusted the tracking/steering wheel alignment. The car is now perfect. It may be worth letting you know that I also noticed the car felt a lot more stable after this was done. Before it felt like the wheels where fighting at times to go in different directions, especially in the wet. It now feels a lot more sure footed.
