182 Tax Question

My road tax is up at the end of the month. I'm thinking to get best value before it goes up (I think it goes up from March 09??) I should by 6 Months now and then 1 year at the end of February 09?

Can anyone confirm my logic?

Mines up in October, and i'll be slamming 12 months on mine for the same reasons. We've all got to pay the higher prices eventually, but delaying it has to be a bonus!
