Sorry I know... Its are lasses little bro... Hes got a 2003 1.4 Clio and his dads got a St which hes allowed to drive... He thinks the Sts the nuts... Every time he comes to my house he goes on about the St kicking the 182s ass... Just wanted to put him straight... Suppose theres one way to nail it into his head... Thats on the road... Would it do the St on straights as well?

I drive an ST170 from time to time, and yes it would get beat by a 172/182 - have whupped lesser VTRs and the like tho.

Thats almost word for word what I was thinking about posting when I read the title. lol

I know a guy who had both 172 and ST170 at the same time. And he said the Focus wouldnt touch the 172 in a straight line. Ive drove his ST and have to say I think its a better handling car than my 172, so much more composed. But that takes nothing away from the fact it was f**king slow. No idea where that 170PS goes, but its certainly no where near the wheels. If that engine has 170 bhp, it must have mahoooosive transmission losses.lol
