18k service

my 1.4 clio that ive just bought is due its 18k service. Its now on 19k. Im i correct in thinking its just oil and filter? also i can get it done by any VAT registered garage? and i will still retain my warranty? any decent places is the doncaster area?

It has to use genuine Renault Parts, i think they have to be Renault Aproved also.
 
Its sort of oil filter etc howver they check a few other bits and pieces.
Personally I'd go to Renault for the first service you can get it done for £100 or so and its not going to be a huge amount cheaper from a garage.
Yes though so long as you use official Renault parts and the book is stamped by a VAT registered garage your covered.
Renault give you a 1k tolerance on your milage so long as you hovn';t done more han 19k on the car and yoy get it serviced then your warently on anything that could have failed due to not being servicedat the right time is still intack. However if its over 19k and you have it serviced then its not covered if they can prove that if you'd have your service done at the right time that the warently calim wouldn't have occured. They usually work on a percentage calim system so you may be asked to pay some % of the warently claim.
