195 45 16 tyre on my 172 cup??

Hi all just wondering if a 195 45 16 tyre will make the car handle differently as opposed to the standard 195 40 16 tyre? reason being that it is by far cheaper for a 45 profile as opposed to the 40
also should i go for the michelin exalto pe2's??

i will replace all four

the std tyre is 195/45/16 in a conti... i'm replacing mine with pe2's though

As above ^^^^ It should be 195/45 R16 standard anyway.

Well im in the process of putting some 172 FF wheels with 195/ 50 / 16 tyres on my Cup just as a set of slave wheels whilst i get a couple of the Turini's refurbed....should be an interesting change.

i had some similar wheels when mine were refurbed ..... 205 50 15 ....defo filled the arches well but did catch on full lock
