195/45 - 50 tyres

Is there any point or advantage of having lower profiled tyres on standard wheels (dynamique 15's)?
Does it allow the car to be lowered more?

your speedo will be under reading, rolling radius 195/50/15 = 288mm as opposed to 195/45/15 = 278.25mm, so when speedo says 70 mph, you're really travelling at 67.63mph.
It'll lower the car a little bit, and you'll "feel" the road more...
