195 or 205 for mk2 172 wheels

hi i have a 172 mk 2 and it has 195 45 16 tyres. do 205 45 16 tyres also fit these wheels the same as whats fitted on the 182 alloys or are they wider. was just wondring cus the 195 tyres look a bit thin but i believe thats what renault fitted to them. if anyone knows if the 205 can be fitted to these wheels it would be great to know thanks

you can fit 205.40.16 tyres due to you using a wider tyre you must drop a profile not 205.45.16.

tyres are double the price though nearly £100 for anything worth having

ok kool so 205/40/16 should fit without any scrubbing
