Just found a pre-reg 197 with Climate control, Xenon, 4 speaker CD player and Sunroof for £14120 at www.autoebid.com. It seems to be cheaper than alot of other places. Has anyone used them before and any comments?

Looks cheap enough to me , never used em though !Its not very cheap for the megane 225's though . Motorpoint are selling em for less than 15k .

Also when you allow for the fact that a broker can supply one (also ph2 not a ph1) for that kind of money (UK supplied) then it makes motorpoint look expensive. Are you 100% sure the 225's from motorpoint are cypriot imports admits ? I'm not doubting your word , just wondered where you got the info from ?
Tbh the salesmen at motorpoint don't know their arse from the elbows .When i got my 182 from motorpoint in February they said i had 24 months warranty and no AA assistance . When i phoned Renault UK they said i had the full 3 years warranty and 3 years AA cover , when i say full , i mean minus 3 months for each because of when it came into the country .
I've seen the 225's slightly cheaper on the net than motorpoint , i was just using their prices as an example of what you can save over dealership prices .

Nor me. There's no way on earth I'd get the 197 as it's highly debatable as to whether it's any improvement on my car or not. I just can't afford to lose that kind of money again just for the new car feeling. Now new car feeling, decent seats for a tall guy, an arm rest, cruise control and 222 bhp chippable to 265, now THAT might be worth losing all that money for
