Hi all,

Just wondering if the 8-10hp gains are realistic and is the inlet matching worth the money?

I had it done on my 172 and noticed the difference.

I'd guess at smoothing running and maybe 1-2bhp. My 172 felt faster but in reality was just a little more driveable.

they're pretty oddly mismatched as standard, and there's some very odd casting shapes going on. Definitely worthwhile. 10bhp is optomistic for sure though

I know this has probably been covered but what kind of money is inlet matching & is there anyone you'd recommend?

It's around £180 to have done.

Thought the figures were a bit optimistic

£180 better off spent else where? Or is it worth doing
