197 F1 Edition

Just wondering what the difference is between the 197 F1 and the normal 197? Performance wise that is? Got a mate with one who says its quicker than the normal 197's but im not sure if its him just bigging his car up a bit. I would have thought they would have just improved handling?

No engine upgrades at all.

The F1 was the first 197 with the cup pack suspension, later to be an option on the standard 197 and obvioudly standard on the actual Cup model.

Other than that, Recaro seats and optional graphics are the only differences I'm aware of.

There might have been the odd trim differences too, but not that this would have increased performance.
