197 glve box light removal

does any 1 know an easy way of removing the glove box light as it is not easy at all to get out

You'll need to take the glove box out - best way.

Firstly remove the dash strip above, and the airbag panel on the side. Then undo the torx bolts under the strip, one on the side, and one inside the top of the glove box. The glove box will then pull out and you can then get to the bulb holder.

When refitting just make sure you have all the rubber mounts lined up so that the glovebox fits back properly.

Lol, trouble is the switch is obviously hooked through the glovebox so that it comes on when the lid is opened.

Only takes 5/10 mins, and the bulb shouldn't need changing that often anyway!!
