197 head with 225 block?

Would it work? Ran bearings on 197 and have found a decent 225 block?

Other option have a decent F4R 736 motor would that work as current is a. 830?

Yeah it’ll work but you need to block off the turbo oil drain.

736 won’t work as your gearbox won’t attach to the block.

Thanks for the response so head would be a direct bolt on? Just the blank off required? Pulleys and all would remain unchanged

Yeah the 197 head would just bolt straight on mate.
