197 k&n apollo

Hi all!
Quick question about the k&n Apollo intake, has anyone had one fitted?
Are they worth it?
How easy are they to fit?
All suggestions welcome peeps!!

Fiited one to a clio R27 about 1-2 weeks ago. I know people mostly slate them but had a couple of runs with the guy before and after and it pulls slightly better with the K&N on. I think the CAF being routed down in the gearbox/driveshaft area where air isn't that hot made a difference. now plans are to take the CAF behind the headlight somehow and see how it goes. will post pics here too once it's done

The intake is actually smaller than the standard set up......

IIRC the apollo intake is about 76 mm. don't know about the std one

apparently its a direct fit. had a look on the k&n web page.

fitted it today, looks, sounds, and performs brilliantly!

I went for the Clio V6/R3 airbox, massive difference >5000rpm.

But you would have to reallocate the battery.
