197 question, is this normal?

Hi all I haven't long had my little 197 and something is bugging me, if you plant your foot briefly and then let go the cars revs don't drop for 2-3 seconds which I find quiet odd. Is this normal or have I got a sticky TB or knackered throttle cable?

You'll struggle to find the throttle cable, so I'll go with sticky throttle body.

try taking it off and cleaning all the oil and crap off it

Just noticed its drive by wire, guess I'll clean out the TB and see if it helps.
