197 Timing Advice!

  Clio 197 RB
Hi Guys,

I'm hoping you can help, Ive finally got round to changing the cambelt on my 197. I brought all the correct tools, cam seals removed cams set slightly off the horizontal for TDC pin setting moved it slightly and the pin slotted right in and the horse show fits with a little bit of wiggling.

What I'm a little concerned about is after removing the aux pulley the grove on the crank is not vertical with the engine its slightly off to the right. Is this fine or does this mean i may have got the TDC pin in the wrong hole. If this is the case and i move it to the vertical the horseshoe wont fit. It was running fine before i started so wouldn't think it has always been timed up wrong.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers Luke
