1st gearrr is doing my head in

only somtimes when i go to go into 1st gear it doesnt go in proply does is it just my gearbox oil... or is it my syncro ring?

Is this when your pulling away from a stand-still?

Mine sometimes won't go in 1st gear unless i'm stationery.

you probably have a fudged dogbone mount, its the lower engine mount, and when it goes it causes the engine to move, which in turn makes it harder for it to be put into gear. once you come to complete standstill the engine is only under the movement of idle, making it easier to put into gear.

though in idle you may still notice it a bit stiff to get in, if so pull the stick into second and put it back into first.

though i'd get it changed as soon as you can as it puts more effort on the other mounts and the gearbox.
