2 Completely Seperate Computers Accessing 1 File?

  1.6 Focus, 1.6 122S
Okay, I realise teh heading is a n00b as possible but not sure how else to word it!

Is it possible to have 2 users in complete different parts of the country access and edit one file?

So when one user is updating/editing the other can only view read-only?

Realise that teh file would have to be hosted somehow. Its an access database btw.

Any idea how I would do this?

All files on our network are read only when someone else has first opened the file. I think this is normal.

Okay, thats good, so how can I give somebody on another computer access to a single file on mine?

Guess the easy way would just be to host it somewhere, on the interent as your not on a Lan.

You would then have to overwrite it everytime you make a change and then the other person could download it and view it.
