2 Days in London

Spent the night in London on Thursday, stayed in County Hall so nice and close to the action. Walked the South Bank on Thursday night, then headed to the East Cemetery in Highgate on Friday morning (incredible place) before hitting the shops.

Most taken with the X100, handily my 55-200 for the X-E1 broke...a couple of weeks before I head off to America for my honeymoon.

Love the effect of the last one, how was that achieved if you don't mind me asking?

Spent a day in London on Wednesday (sans l'appareil photo) and have to say it was liberating!!

8 second exposure, started at 18mm, left it there for a second, then smoothly zoomed to 55mm and back to 18mm.

Last time I had the 5D, so this felt great with the little gear. I'm so, so close to only needing/wanting the X100 and not the X-E1/18-55/55-200 combo, I need some brave pills before I do that though!

Well I've saved the last 3 for my screen saver as they are awesome shots mate.

Thanks, which of course is why the lights are streaked but the buildings are not, thought zoom burst initially but couldn't work it out!!
