2 Insurance policy's

right currently with direct line in my own policy with dad as additional just for emergencys.

Now with DL they wont let modification untill im 25.

So what if i pulled out another insurance only for a month cover it is, putting my Dad as Main Driver & me additional or even me as the policy Holder

is this Possilbe or is it Illegal

cant stop my current 1 with direct line until July

you cant have more than one policy on one car at any one time

What if i contacted Direct Line and tell them my dads the Main Driver now? i should be able to do mods then yes?

really need to sort this as iv got stuff planned to go on soon

you wont be able to mod it as long as the youngest driver is under 25, also if you swap to your dad as the main driver, you will have to cancel your existing policy and start a new one in your dads name

looks like a new policy is to take out then and cancell this 1, i have to keep the 1.2 for 3more years so wont do alot of difference,
