Finally after near two months my 200 is being inspected tomorow for the paint work to be assessed by "approved bodyshop". Just still rather fucked off with it all but hopefully end is in sight. Have to say thanks to David at Renault who posts on here for stepping in and getting customer services to actually listen.

zippo....sadly thats true! to be up in ek for 8.30...taking my brother with me who used to be a spray painter to he will tell them when there talking shite....queue his last visit to arnold clark to look for a new car...salesman "we have a couple of nice mini's over there" ...my brother "do i look gay"

Finally some progress with this Ally, becoming an almost typical Renault scenario!
Inspection if could be called that went okay, guy agreed there is scratches on bumper, primer showing through and passenger door has had something done to it, he is reporting back to ruk, thinks all can be polished down.
Nearly kerbed car, by parks in ek there is a carphone warehouse at some travel lodge with frankie and bennies, went in there to work out how to get out of ek and slid on ice at roundabout.
Fog/mist in ek was incredible especially since cracking day down on the coast

ive had no trouble with the 230 yet from parks..(altho it wasnt a new car - so all the glitches have prob been dealt with by the old owner)
i dont think i would ever buy a brand new car again...

Nice to hear they are finally sorting things out.
I had a similar problem when i brought one of the first iceburg ph2's. The paint was so far out on the wings and front bumper it was ridiculous. At first they said the usual you cant match metal and plastic paint. In the end they sent a specialist over from the factory as there had been a few complaints. They agreed to repaint the whole car or rfund me the full price i paid and walk away. I did the lata.

Mine has had the odd issue but renault have done everything they can to fix them. No issues at all with the service i have recieved, think there is a second party here and the car wasnt a direct renault purchase??Could be wrong

Your doing well, it was over a year after buying my bike that kawasaki finally accepted a new bike's fairing shouldn't vibrate and rattle, especially to a degree that it can be heard over the engine at high revs.
They just kept saying there all like that, the salesman never pointed that out to me iirc.
In the end they fixed it, then 2 weeks later the rattle came back, bike was sold soon after. Wouldn't buy a kwak again, now with my honda the service from honda dealers is excellent, even though i got it used they still genuinely want to help me.

Nope, ordered in for me brand new to my options by dealer. So in a summary yes you are wrong.
